During the Flicks and Fixins workshop, students watched movies and ate different food that was brought in. One day had a candy bar theme!
HS^2 students also had the option of multiple outdoor reading workshops where they could really dive into a book while enjoying the nice weather that we've been having!
GRADUATES RETURN TO THEIR ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS!!! Each year, Kettle Moraine graduates return to their elementary schools to reconnect with former teachers and encourage younger students. The visits give graduates a chance to reflect on how far they have come while elementary students enjoy meeting and learning from older students they admire. These traditions highlight the strong connections across the district and the spirit of One KM.
Students had lots of fun exploring different local parks during the Park Adventures workshop!
HS^2 Food Fun workshop students visited local restaurants and created their own food!
The outdoor adventures workshop crew took time to go mini golfing and hit some balls on the range!
HS^2 Senior Katie R. spent a lot of time recently making a mural in Mrs. Basthemer's room showcasing different biomes of the world!
Summer hair, nails, and makeup workshop!
In the HS^2 Workshop "Pimp My Ride: Power Wheels Edition", students took to fixing up two Power Wheels cars! Students got the cars running, installed a voice command navigation system, 3D printed license plate holder, eyes, a working key, and much more!
Senior Spotlight!
During the HS^2 celebration, there were speeches given from Director Mrs. Ladsten, Senior Class Representative JJ G., and chosen speaker Evie E. After, all Seniors walked across the stage and shared future plans, words of advice, and favorite High School memories!

Here is a glimpse at all of the HS^2 Chemistry rockets before they were launched!
Forensic Science students used all they learned all year to create mock crimes! After, they investigated each others crimes to try and determine what happened!
After workshops, Mrs. Graner's room is going to be a lot more colorful! Students have been busy creating works of art on the wall and ceiling tiles!

Senior Spotlight!
Congratulations to HS^2 Senior Emma M, who won the Optimist District Oratorical Contest against students from all over southern Wisconsin. She won a plaque, a $2,500.00 scholarship, and an invitation to go to the national competition where she could win another $20,000.00!!
